This is an airport restaurant at SFO. That being said they were able to serve a long long line of people relatively quickly. I ordered chicken udon and was impressed by the amount of food the perfections of the udon noodles and the delicious broth. This restaurant is situated almost directly beyond the TSA security checkpoint so everybody has to pass by it to get to their gate. Don't be dissuaded by the long lines! They will get you out in a few minutes and there's plenty of seating just around the corner. I recommend walking around to the back of the restaurant there is a (apparently) little known area of extra charging Outlets! Bonus!

For airport Japanese fair, this actually hit the spot and better than even a few non-airport shops which says a lot. I'll have to try the other options next time Γ°ΕΈΛΕ½

Their udon bowl is the best pre-flight meal terminal three.

Nice place for airport place

Sankaku is a bold Japanese-American Fusion restaurant. Their american style frozen vegetable pack consisting of green beans, peas, corn, carrots, and Lima beans was a surprise atop chicken, rice and teriyaki sauce. It seems like something I might make myself on a Tuesday night after another day of avoiding the grocery store, forcing me to dig deep in the fridge for inspiration. Rather than something I'd find at any other Japanese restaurant. It's slim pickin's in SFO.

Fast sushi, make sure to get chop sticks and soy sauce at the end of the table after the cashier.

Everything on the menu is exactly as described. Simple and delicious. Great pre flight food that I look forward to when I fly out of SFO.

Nice for airport food. Best airport sushi I have had in the US.

All restaurants at the airport are expensive but this one is reasonable. I got big potion and food taste good. I ordered salmon bowl $13. The only problem is they are stingy with teriyaki sauce and want to charge for extra.

Pretty basic SF restaurant. Decent quality, clean, good service. Pricing is also standard over the top SF style. Not their fault, but I can't 5 star a restaurant with $20+ chicken teriyaki.

It's an airport, so temper expectations appropriately. And it's in San Francisco. Prices at the Gordon Biersch were about 25%-30% higher than in Atlanta. With the caveats and reality check out of the way: This seems like a fairly reasonably priced (for an airport, particularly SFO) to get some simple but decent comfort food. I went with the tempura udon, and it was ample, flavorful, and filling, if uncreative. Pretty much just what I wanted before taking a redeye. The warm sake will help!Service was fast and cheerful. Cafeteria ambiance, but it is in an airport, so...I'd definitely hit this again. With limited choices and budget, this is a solid option for a decent meal.

The tempura soba was good. My current favorite place to eat in this airport.

The best airport food I ever have. The people are really nice.

One of the best airport Japanese food I ever had. I rarely look forward to eating airport food. This is an exception. Love the Ramen. This is almost as good as my other favorate airport Japanese food, which is Tatsu at Tokyo Narita Airport.

Japanese style fast food in SFO. When in the airport always stopped by for a quick bite here.

Good but too pricy.

The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We really liked the environment of this spot. First-rate spot to take my family out for dinner.

good airport food. Their effort to recycle is appreciated.

Cheap sushi during happy hours - service is OK and the food is standard ... more a Place to grab a bite than do dinner...

Considering that this is in a major airport, the food quality and price is okay.

Absolutely perfect! I just ate a path through Texas, and needed something healthy and cleansing on my last leg of my trip. The salmon bowl was amazing! I love salmon and this was perfectly cooked! So flavorful! Delicious to the last bite. I feel good. Best full meal price in Terminal 3! Highly recommend!

Great looking sushi place in San Francisco airport right next to gate 71B just across the way from the Compass Book Store. Lots of seating available. They have an interesting looking sushi a la carte option on the menu as well as all the regular sushi and noodle and vegetarian options. Departure board right next to it so you can keep an eye on your next flights boarding status.

Although they are just a common food stand and the taste is nothing outstanding, I am always grateful of Japanese quick bite inside the security point. Tempura udon or just regular udon is a good choice for your breakfast. I may stay away from the deluxe udon next time, as meat and shrimp tempura don't match up well in a bowl.

Fresh made sushi and noodle bowls. You can grab a fresh made pack or order a variety fresh. Fair prices too considering it's in an airport. California roll and 3 sashimi for $10. A plain burger is $12 not far away. Never a long line either.

Decently fresh food. Fast service. I always enjoyed the salmon bowl event at 6AM in the morning Γ°ΕΈΛβΉ

Not great, but better option than the burger king next door

My go-to when I'm in Terminal 3. I particularly enjoy the tempura udon soup, but the rolls and sushi are solid too. They're really nice as well. When you travel a lot and don't want heavy food, this is a fresh, reliable, tasty option.

Whenever I fly through SFO I have to get Udon from Sankaku, hands down some of the best!
John La
Portion was a little small, with a long wait, expensive as with all airport food. (Tempura Udon)

A Staple at SFOThere are (at least) two of these at SFO (terminal 2 by gate 55, and terminal 3 by the main TSA line) and they get busy. There is a reason. The good news is the Line is typically your only wait, there is very little wait on the food (so dont hold up the line by searching for your payment After you order)My favorite is the Curry Bowl, the sauce is delicious and makes the rice great. Teriyaki Chicken or Beef Bowls are very good too. Prices are reasonable

Great place to get a good meal at SFO.
